Affenpinscher

Affenpinscher is a wiry-haired small dog with an ape-like expression. Hence the German name "affen" which means monkey. It has an inner beauty that strikes the heart and charm, most with their clown-like behavior. Have you achieved friendship with a Affenpinscher, you have a friend for life.

Affenpinscheren is a very old German breed. Already in 1400 the number was immortalized in paintings by Albrecht Dürer and Jan van Eyck. Affenpinscher's origin, there has been some discussion about, is clearly that Affenpincher is related to and has played a central role in the development of the Griffon-dogs, Miniature Pinscher and Miniature Schnauzer. Originally Affenpinscher deemed to have been used as a rat dog, which implies that it must be curious, courageous, eager and quick.
In the original standard in 1913 was Affenpinscher described as "ein kleiner Teufel voll Gift und Galle", in the sense that it was "a little devil full of oaths and bile". Perhaps it was the way it started - now is certainly an appealing funny little dog, lively, friendly and loving.

Affenpinscher does not require much exercise, it can be satisfied with a little trip, but it can also be happy to go to you fall, if that's what you want. The coat is easy to care for, it is enough to comb through it once a week. The grooming is not particularly complicated, and for everyday pick down as much as one thinks is necessary. Picks continuously in the Affenpinschers coarse fur avoids the fur to drop. The color should be black.

Although the breed is of age, there are now few of them. In the last 2-3 years we see that interest in the Affenpinscher has increased and the future must be that more will be touched by the breed, for without doubt there are many people's lives that would be fun and filled with more humor with this the dogworlds sparkling blackeyed little clown.
